Sarah Tolmie is a holistic funeral director and life celebrant; end-of-life consultant and funeral planner; as well as a grief & bereavement specialist.

Sarah lovingly and compassionately guides and supports families as they navigate the practical, emotional, ceremonial and spiritual journey of illness, dying, death and grief. Her promise is to bring love, compassion, integrity, authenticity and empathy to her funeral care practice.

Sarah has developed her professional practice in end-of-life, funerals, and death-care on the Central Coast, Newcastle/Hunter and Northern Sydney regions since 2010.

Sarah is also a relationship/marriage/family therapist; non-religious/spiritual pastoral care practitioner (with hospital and clinical experience); and a grief educator and bereavement specialist coach.

Sarah has been a life & love celebrant since 2005. She is a master ceremony craftsperson, delivering ceremony experiences that are bespoke, authentic, beautiful ceremonies of celebration, honouring, remembrance and even healing.

Sarah brings magic, miracles and meaning to all things Life & Love as a holistic celebrant, marriage therapist, life & love and relationship coach, end-of-life consultant and bespoke funeral director.

Sarah works in private practice as Sarah Tolmie – Life & Love; and when she is working in her capacity as a Commuuity Funeral Director and Funeral Planner, she partners with Picaluna Funerals.

Before her Masters in Communication Management and more than a decade long career in corporate communications, Sarah’s first academic degree was in Social Anthropology and Psychology, igniting a passion that never left her for the human condition, social wellness & relationships.

Sarah returned to her passions 17 years ago, following the call of ceremony & ritual as a holistic celebrant, and being in service to individuals, couples and families helping them to navigate the emotional, practical, relational and spiritual challenges of life and love’s journey as a relationship coach, marriage therapist, grief specialist and end-of-life consultant.

She also trained in clinical pastoral care and worked for four years as a non-religious ward chaplain at Gosford Public Hospital caring for staff, patients and families in oncology, cardiac and palliative care.
