Lauren and Chris Archer were married at Shelly Beach Golf Club in what was a miracle of a sunny sunny Saturday in April. Childhood sweethearts, wickedly funny and down to earth, this couple were so easy to work with, a delight! Their celebrations were complete with an “all in” family and bridal party flash mob!

Lauren and Chris’s travels ls together in life and love began 8 years ago. when they met in those tender teenage years at school through a shared group of friends.
Chris was attracted to Lauren’s caring nature, her genuine interest she gave to him……and her charming lack of inhibition to say the things that probably sounded more clever in her head than they came out…….a foundation of this love….lots and lots of laughter and banter.
And for Lauren, it was Chris’s eyes and smile, his confidence……and the fact that he loved to laugh with her…..as well as at her! LOL
This love they share, is made up of many elements, a perfect blend of honesty & communication; learning & laughter; togetherness & individual paths; work & play; family & friends; travelling & music; dogs & sport.
In fact, on the topic of sport and dogs, it is here that perhaps symbolically life and love finally really converged into perfect harmony for this couple. It was like the perfect storm …. taking 8 years to brew ……
On January 27th 2015, after over 8 years of Chris brainwashing her, Lauren finally said “I don’t want to do this uni assignment; there is too much good sport on TV tonight!”
And for Lauren, after 8 years of her talking about how much she loves dogs, Chris finally admitted feeling the same way too about dogs. And now, sharing evening stories of the particular dogs they saw that day is a favourite pastime.
What is it they love about each other?
Lauren
I love Chris’s ability to always make me smile not matter what, even when I’m cranky at him. I love how he treats everyone with respect. I love his acceptance of my love for dogs to the point where is now actively seeking out dogs during the day and telling me about them; I love how he has embraced my boy band music obsession and the fact it’s all I play when we’re at home, in the car or wherever! I know he secretly knows all the words is really wanting to sing at the top of his lungs with me! I love how is always putting me first. Chris makes me feel safe and loved, beautiful and content; happy and cared for, important and like nothing else matters.
Chris
I love Lauren’s ability to get along with just about anyone. I love her willingness to get involved in my interests and love my friends and family…I love how Lauren enjoys being a part of each of my friendship groups. I love her ability to forgive….her caring, loving and adoring nature. I love her honesty in speaking up and discussing things where they are not 100% I love that we can laugh together, talk together and that we focus on the positives and happiness we have. Lauren makes me feel important and loved.
