Melissa and Terrence were married at Freshwater Beach in a relaxed and intimate ceremony full of love and joy.

There are actually not words to describe how grateful we are to you Sarah, you were the most fantastic celebrant, we could not have wished for more. As we said, the ceremony was THE most important bit for us and it absolutely surpassed our wildest expectations. To be married by someone we felt knew us and knew our story, was so very special. The effort you went to to get to know us, balance our different spiritual leanings, include the special people in our lives and generally make it an incredible experience for us and everyone there was absolutely priceless. I can’t tell you many people I’ve talked to who said it was the best ceremony they’ve ever attended and we all think you should charge double to differentiate yourself even further! Without exception all of our friends were touched by the ceremony beyond what they expected, they loved it and they couldn’t stop telling us. Sarah and Luke were married at the beautiful Mindaribba House in the Hunter Valley in March 2015. It was a weekend affair of family, love and laughter.

“We really felt like Sarah was interested in making this wedding about us as much as possible. Her survey was genius. It really helped us to identify WHY we were doing this, which is a really important part of a wedding. She personalized things and asked lots of questions. She also offered us lots of ideas and help – especially with the vows. The best part was that Sarah understood what kind of ceremony we wanted and created a really nice balance between it being fun but also spiritual. We knew we could count on her from the day we met her. She is incredibly professional but above that, she becomes your friend during the process. That’s even more important.

Our ceremony was PERFECT. It was the truest express of us as a couple than what we could have ever asked for. On the day did the ceremony meet our expectations? No it wasn’t. It was even better! We knew Sarah would be great, but on the day, she really was such an incredible support. Our guests loved the ceremony – people were crying everywhere. Even the boys and people we didn’t expect to cry! One friend had been to five weddings over the past month and we were the only wedding she cried at! Everyone could hear it and was really engaged.

I wish there was a way of telling you how perfect I felt our ceremony was. I can’t really explain it in words – I guess it’s a sense of happiness that is beyond what you would experience on any day other than your wedding day! Everything was perfect – I loved the ceremony you wrote, it was just so beautiful. There were so many unique bits and pieces you brought to our wedding that made it work so perfectly for us!

Sarah is an active listener and tuned into our needs, at the time perhaps more tuned into our needs/wants then we were. Sarah has an ability to ask great open questions – about family, individuals, likes and dislikes that get you thinking about ‘what we really wanted’ for our ceremony. Sarah was professional, reliable, open and transparent in her thinking and planning for our ceremony. Samir and I felt Sarah really cared about us, as a couple and as individuals which made the ceremony even more meaningful. Sarah crafted and led such a beautiful ceremony for us; our friends are still commenting on the love they felt and how our ceremony made them feel – ‘extremely grateful’ and ‘tears of joy’. During the ceremony Sarah honoured Samir parents, who are no longer with us. Sarah communicated beautifully and respectfully. We were so happy and confident with Sarah, we asked Sarah to be of MC and bring it all together for us.Our guests heard the ceremony, were moved by the ceremony and felt the love during and after our ceremony. We never had any doubt of Sarah’s ability to give us the most personal and professional service. It was just that. It was so personal and moving. It was warm and funny, and relaxed. Better than we had ever imagined. We were so worried when we started looking for a celebrant that we would end up with a monotone, bland, beige ceremony. Sarah you were ANYTHING but.
